This is probably the last post before I start finishing the body before getting it re-molded and re-cast. I?ve had a busy summer with too many things going on at times, so haven?t made as quick of progress as I?d have hoped for. Anyway, I thought I?d share the latest pics?
I?ve made creeping progress on the center portion of the grille. I?ve worked on both the egg crate portion of the grille, as well as the insert, which still has a ways to go.
One of the more exciting developments is that I finally got some red-cast taillight lenses from Shawn. I think the masters need a bit more work to make them a bit better finished, but they?re not too bad. I also got the first sample bezels back from him. The fit isn?t quite what I want, but it?ll get there?
I?m trying to finish up a few minor blemishes before final finishing.
