Proton set for BTCC return By Jamie O'Leary Wednesday, February 16th 2011, 11:10 GMT The Proton name is set to return to the British Touring Car Championship in the summer thanks to ambitious plans by independent squad Welch Motorsport. The team plans to enter an NGTC-spec version of the Malaysian manufacturer's Gen-2 model, which will be powered by the TOCA engine. Related posts:
