1953 Hudson Hornet - Fabulous Twin H - Power! w.i.p.

Okay, so this is going to be a speed build! Laugh     No, not really . . . . .
Not considering this is the third paint job I've done on this, and the first one was on Christmas day. Paint job #1 (Tamiya black) had to be redone 'cause I burnt through the paint while polishing. Number 2 (Krylon Almond over Pistachio) turned out great, but the clear coat cracked in several places. So for lucky #3 I went with Krylon Almond again over Boyd's Pacific Blue. The blue is only available here in enamel flavor, so I vowed I'd wait three weeks exactly 'til I tried to polish it. My natural laziness, or patience as I like to call it paid off, as I shined it up today, polished it with Turtle Wax Ice and it looks pretty darned good!
No clear on the body, just the roof 'cause I used the Krylon satin color. I doubt whether there was any factory color combination like this, but I found a link on that "other" forum to pics of a restored 1:1 that was very similar to what I'm gonna build.
