here is the transmission of the build of the funny car

i give you 2 pix of the transmission that i have build first of all i didn't like the 2 halves on the axle insted of welding it together i simply cut away the tube and keep the rear flange again i have enough Aluminum tubing to make me an axle,cut the proper length and weld on the rear flange to it...then i saw the transmission and at this time i dint like the smooth texture to it...so i added tissue paper to the transmission andf painted flat black...(try to acheive the authenic look to it) at this time i thought now what to use for straps as the mold of the transmission puts out....again by adding kicker panel support rods from(msg 2141) photo etch kit i have acheive that paticular look to it...and also adding (mcg 2145) lever parts to the transmission i have acheive what i was gaming for on this part of the build...here is some pix of it

yes indeed it does have 13 parts to it but it is worth it to me
