Ford Edsel #1 in top 50 worst cars

l was reading an article on the worst 50 cars of all time and the Edsel was number 1 and the pacer was number 3rd and plymouth aspen was 13th. l remember the pacer and they was fairly popular when l was a kid and as was the aspen and volare.

l have read articles on the Edsels but yet to know what the problem was. So what was the Edsels problem???
