Is it posible to have too much plastic ?

I posted a search last year looking for some Keystone Klassics for my '72 Cougar. I dug through my wheel stash (4-5 large folger's coffee containers) before I found 3 crappy KKs.  Then I scanned all my boxed kits for cars that might have come with KKs.  It's been over a year and I still haven't started my '72 (need to get the correct body paint).  Wouldn't you know, last week I was searching my glue bomb shelf for something to build or resurrect when I noticed a '40 ford with 4 shinny like new KK's.  This seems to be a common occurrence; I find items that I had been searching for long after a project is completed.                                                               

Is it possible that I may have too much plastic?
