We are reporting about a baby Mercedes CLS for quite some time now, but today we bring you another proof that the car is being hardly tested. Codenamed C117, the new CLC it is a little 4-door Coupe set to hit a show room close to you in 2013.
The new CLC will be based on a longer version from the platform made for the new A-Class and B-Class. This platform will make it possible to offer both front- and all-wheel-drive versions, and with rumors of a high power AMG version it might be good with all-wheel-drive to be sure to get the power down.
The model will be offered with a 1.6 liter turbocharged petrol engine offered in two versions: one with 121 HP and one with 154 HP. European will also receive a diesel motor also offered in two versions: one with 107 and the other one with 134 HP. The engine will be mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission or a six-speed manual. Rumors also talk that Mercedes will also be offering an AMG version that will deliver somewhere between 300 and 340 HP.
